Music at LCPC is diverse, in response to our varied worship styles. The full range of diverse new and classic music is emplolyed. The progressive Gathering service features modern songs, and gospel style selections, with frequent gospel music guests. Diverse resources are used for congregational singing at 11 a.m. includes the Presbyterian Hymnal, which was developed using inclusive language and sensitive to the diverse nature of the church. The Hymnal includes hymns and songs from the gospel, spiritual, evangelical, Reformed, and diverse ethnic traditions in the Presbyterian Church.
Chancel Choir. The Chancel Choir is made up of members both young and old who share a love of singing music of all styles that enhance our worship service and inspire the gathered congregation. The Women's Chorus, the Men's Chorus, trained soloists and fine instrumentalists come from this group. The choir rehearses weekly, presents special music programs, and on occasion combines with the Wellspring Singers. There are additional and part time singers who join the Choir for festival occasions. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Choir Room and Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m. Please come join!
Wellspring Singers. This singing group is made up of members of the Worship Team who lead the 9:00 a.m. worship service. The group specializes in the more contemporary and modern songs as well as spirituals. On occasion the Wellspring Singers combine with the Chancel Choir. The Wellspring service features cool music that brings a jazz/gospel style sound to this upbeat and uplifting service. Please come experience it and join us!
Celebration Bells. An Adult Bell Choir which plays 4 octaves of Schulmerich handbells. This group meets weekly and presents bell music in the worship service periodically. The bells play many styles of music and are also used as accompaniment to the vocal choirs and in processionals.
Children's Choir. Children and youth, ages 7 to 17, are involved in this singing group which presents interesting and lively music in the worship service with a clear role in leading worship. Rehearses Sunday mornings, as announced, in the Choir Room. Alternates every six weeks with Joy Ringers.
Joy Ringers. A bell choir for children and youth that plays periodically in worship. Childrens' bells are specialy designed for kids, complete with push buttons. Kids rehearse Sunday mornings, as announced, in the Choir Room. Alternates with the Children's Choir as scheduled.

Enrichment of our service music comes from some of the classical music, new hymns and songs, as well as the more contemporary music from a variety of choral and other sources, including the Iona and Taize Communities and Maranatha music collections. Evening GospelFest and Taize services are scheduled different times during the year.
